XV INTERNATIONAL MEDIA FORUM "DIALOGUE OF CULTURES" IN THE HERMITAGE
PRESENTATION OF THE AWARD
At the end of the Second Session, which took place at the Hermitage Theater on April 14, 2021, a pleasant surprise awaited the audience - the awarding of two outstanding journalists with the trophy "For Significant Contribution to Dialogue of Cultures".

Traditionally, the award looks like the figure of a shift, which means a new thought, a new stage. A shift is an electronic symbol, but its history begins with a medieval handwritten book: in the same way, modern Internet journalism relies on the principles of the printed one. This symbol is universal and international like the Media Forum.

Zhanna Badoeva used Zoom to talk to the participants of the Forum. She thanked the forum organizers for their trust and shared her point of view on how television helps in the realization of the Dialogue of Cultures.
"People all over the world want one thing: they want love, health and peace. Therefore, by showing life in other countries in our program, we unite," Zhanna said.

Vladimir Pozner, however, was awarded within the walls of the Hermitage not the first time. He noted two problems of Russian journalism: strong dependence on the authorities and a lack of understanding among generations.
