Mediacongress «The Commonwealth of Journalists» is a non-profit organisation that gives an opportunity to qualified young journalists from all over the globe to meet on different platforms, both online and offline, and to share their gained experience in the media sphere. Our main work is connected with organisation and implementation of forums for Russian and foreign journalists, representatives of analogue and digital media, photographers, independent journalists, media experts and bloggers, which take place from year to year in different parts of the world.
International projects:

Mediacongress is also initiating the holding of professional media competitions and festivals in which young journalists and students of the faculties of journalism could try themselves out. These projects, supported by the UNESCO, Moscow Mayor, Russian Union of journalists etc., are yearly becoming important events in the life of the international media community.
The major projects that have been held for the past 10 years:
«I LIVE IN RUSSIA»
The main aim of this ongoing project is to bring to the media space journalistic materials, revealing the life of the ordinary citizens of Russia. For now more than 500 materials in 3 formats (video, photo and longreads) has been published on the web-platform of the project. The authors of the best materials from different regions of Russia, were invited to the awarding ceremony, held in June 2018 at the Photo Center on Gogolevsky Boulevard, in the framework of which there was opened a photo exhibition and the best video stories were shown.
«FROM MOSCOW TO THE VERY OUTSKIRTS»
This international photo project was dedicated to the 70thanniversary of the Great Victory. 1500 works from 80 regions of Russia were sent to the organizers. Photographers from England, Australia, the USA, and almost all European and CIS countries joined the contest.
«THE BEST IN PROFESSION»
The project, organized by the Mediacongress with the support of the Interstate Foundation in 2012, brought together the strongest representatives of the media community of the entire Eurasian space. 1252 works from 300 media outlets and author teams from 15 countries were presented to selection committees.
Close collaboration with major european media gives Mediacongress an opportunity to prepare educational progtamms for russian journalists who works abroad. Three european media classes have already been held in Prague (2012), Barcelona (2013) and Paris (2017).

This is our mission: we help to combine the efforts of journalists in establishing intercultural dialogue between states, and to create favourable conditions for professional cooperation and mutual cultural enrichment.
