In frameworks of the Forum «Dialogue of Cultures» Moris and Kevin decided to make a film about Malevich's «Black Square».

«The Black Square is the starting point for our Film. In the Hermitage we'd like to shoot in the rooms of the Black Square and the European Collection (Cézanne, Gauguin, van Gogh, Maurice Denis, Valloton, Matisse, et al.)»

For the shooting a small black square was constructed and it covered most of the frame. Camera was put at eye level and people who came to see the masterpiece were looking at the lens. People who view a painting during an exhibition are also looking into the camera lens. The result is a film showing the world through the «eyes» of a Black square.
