launches a project which will gather visual photo and video stories of unique cultures of different countries under the hashtag #digicultures and help us to understand each other better. Authors of the most outstanding works will be invited to media forum "Dialogue of Cultures" and could present their works at the State Hermitage Museum.
«Dialogue of Cultures» is the place where journalists, video makers, photo reporters and bloggers from all over the world can exchange their opinion, share professional experience, find their soulmates for future realization of cross-border projects and find secret spots of the Hermitage which are hidden from usual visitors.

Photo journalism:
· Post on social network any genre photo or photo report (up to 6 photos) presenting people stories who live in your country. Use hashtag #digicultures;
· Mention name and date when the photo was made;
· Publication need to be accompanied by a description (6 sentences maximum). Photo series need to have a description for each photo which will supplement it but not just comment.
TV journalism:
· Post on social network a video (1 minute max.);
· Mention name and date when the video was made and write a description (10 sentences maximum).

You can send works to info.mediacongress@gmail.com oruse this form in accordance with technical requirements. Best materials will be published on web site of Mediacongress and/or on official instagram of State Hermitage Museum @hermitage_museum.
Photo journalism:
– Images need to be in JPEG or TIFF formats (all the layers have to be brought into one);

– Works CAN NOT contain copyright signes, frames etc.;

– There has to be description for each photo in a serie and also date and location.
TV journalism:
– Maximum lenght of video is1 minute;

– Video has to have a good quality and can be downloaded in mp4, mov or avi formats;

– There has to be description with a date and location.
This is important
– Write your name, last name and place where you and your heroes are from;

– Your Instagram account CAN NOT be closed. Othervise Organizing Committee and other participants could not look at your work.
The results of the competition will be announced on November, 1of 2019. Your works' evatuetion will be done by jury and visitors of the web site.

Following the outcome of the vote, authors of three works (2 winners will be chosen by jury and 1by audience) will be invited to participate (at the cost of inviting organization) in XIVth "Dialogue of Cultures" (November, 26-28 of 2019) at the State Hermitage Museum and could present their project.

In this photo serie "Removed" (2014 till now) Eric appeals to the issues of virtual life, which oftern replace a real one. Eric removes smartphones from pictures of couples, parents and children, who stand perfectly still in unnatural positions. Being at arm's lenght they actually are more distant than ever.

This photo series was created in collaboration with the Josephat Torner Foundation and 'Stichting Afrikaanse Albino's' to raise awareness about the circumstances of people with albinism (PWA) in Tanzania. In Tanzania, when you have albinism, you are thought to be evil.

«The Kurdish Bride», Yozgat (Central Anatolia Region, Turkey), 2014

Over the past 90 years Kurds became victims of persecution and massacre in Turkey where repressive regime didn't let them express their national and cultural identity. Italian photogtaphers during 5 days were shooting Kurds and Shurkat wedding in August, 2014. This symbolic union respects traditions of both cultures. The couple prooves that love can be over stereotypes formed by some historical events.

Project «Социальный вывих» present portraits of young people who were faced to social agression being a child or teenager. It influenced their social adaptation. Project brings up discrimination and loyal treatment of people with mental and physical conditions and shows how they deal with life difficulties and develop their character.
